The only conclusion that can be drawn from the evidence all around us is that serving GOD is the only answer for living a joyful life!  Everything that GOD wants us to know about him, how we should live, and how to achieve eternal life is found in the Holy Bible.

What are some of the joys to come after this life?

- Eternal life in heaven!
- GOD will dwell among us forever!
- No more pain, disease, sorrow or tears . . . ONLY JOY!
- GOD has promised that the things in heaven will be more incredible than anything we can imagine!

To truly understand what incredible joy is to come, read chapters 21 and 22 of REVELATION in the Holy Bible.  It gives a very detailed glimpse of heaven that is to come.

(Highlights)

a) Chapter 21 verse 3 - 4: God will dwell among us and wipe away every tear.
b
) Chapter 21 verse 10 - 21: Description of the walls and gates of the new Jerusalem.
c) Chapter 21 verse 23: No need for a sun to shine, God's glory will illuminate everything.
d) Chapter 22 verse 1 - 2: Description of the River and the Tree of Life.

What incredible wonders await those who are faithful to GOD!   The only true purpose in this life is to serve GOD.  He has promised a reward beyond our imagination for those who love him.  GOD wants everyone to enjoy a full and meaningful life on earth; but not according to what the world says is meaningful or joyful.

There is a big difference between what humans have created and call truth, and what GOD has declared as truth.  GOD is the only author of truth and moral standards; not humans.  Look at our world today, full of strife, war, sexual immorality and violence.

GOD challenges you to change the way you think and act; not as the world does but rather in a way that is uplifting, loving, and serving others.  In return you gain peace of mind, a spirit of giving and the hope of eternal life. The words of Jesus outlined in the following verses is a sample of the comforting thoughts GOD brings to you.
-    Mathew Chapter 5, verse 1 – 16
-    Mathew Chapter 6, verse 25 – 34
-    Mathew Chapter 7, verse 7 - 23

“How can I be saved, and what must I do?”

“. . . . .  And there is salvation in no one else (Jesus); for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved.” Book of Acts Chapter 4, Verse 12

- God's son, Jesus, is the ONLY way you can hope to be saved from being separated (sin) from God and Heaven.

- When Jesus died on the cross, he fulfilled God’s plan for salvation for the world.  Jesus sacrificed his earthly life for the forgiveness of all sin; one perfect sacrifice for all time.

- However, this does NOT mean everyone automatically has all their sins forgiven !

- If you want to be saved and forgiven of your sins, you must come to Christ (of your own free will) by being Baptized in water.

Still unsure what to do?  Ask yourself:

- Do you fear thinking about your death, without any hope of being in heaven?

Jesus calls to you in love, to change your heart and live for God, rather than the world.  It isn’t too late to turn to Jesus and be saved; Eternal Life in heaven awaits you!

1. Start by praying to God, confessing your past sins and your true desire to change and become a Child of God.

2. To be truly baptized, you need to fully understand the basis of why you need to go through this step. You should seek out a Bible-based church such as The Church of Christ or a Baptist Church.  This is important since a Bible-based church relies on ONLY WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS (nothing added or taken away from the Word of God) as their basis of faith. Some denomination churches may not fully follow all aspects of the Bible as their basis of faith.

3. Speak to the church leadership, and express your desire to be baptized.  They will study with you from the Bible to make sure you understand the commitment you are making.  After you fully understand and of your own free will, they will baptize you. YOU ARE NOW A CHILD OF GOD.  YOU ARE SAVED!

4. As a newly baptized Christian  the temptations of the world make it easier for you to ‘fall away from the faith’; unless you are supported by other Christians to help you learn and grow in your faith.  You should become a member of the church and study the Bible with them to grow in your knowledge and faith in becoming a disciple of Jesus.

5. After you become mature in your faith, reach out and serve others in the world who need to know the good news of Jesus Christ.

6. Feel confident that if you remain faithful to the call of Jesus in this life, you will be rewarded in the next with Eternal Life.
